What If You Don’t Produce Revenue?

Do you feel like you’ve somehow failed if you don’t produce the revenue or income you hoped for?

If so… you might appreciate this perspective.

I was talking with a client the other day and he had a valid concern.

He tells me, “Kevin, I have a good number of long standing relationships, some going back a decade.

Some of these people are definitely in a position to help me, but my concern is that if we collaborate together and get less than the results we’d hoped for, that our relationship will now be damaged.

And that’s something I’m just not willing to risk”.

Like I said, he had a valid concern.

    Instead of viewing it as a failure, view it as “What did I learn from this? What did I gain from this? What went right (software worked, etc)?” And…”Wow…I have more money than I did yesterday. Looks like a win to me!”
